Herbal Mix — Herbal Smoking Blend, the First Step Out of Tobacco

A soft, floral herbal smoking blend (marshmallow, raspberry leaf, red clover, sweet clover, peppermint, calendula) — ready to roll, for a gentle transition out of tobacco.

Type : herbal smoking blend for tobacco replacement / transition Format : dried herbs ready to roll (or a base to customise) Spirit : to soften, to accompany, to free — without dramatising the quitting

Composition (DB-confirmed)

A soft, floral blend made of:

  • Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) — leaves, emollient properties, soothes the throat
  • Raspberry leaves (Rubus idaeus) — raspberry leaf, a full-bodied note without harshness
  • Red Clover leaves (Trifolium pratense) — red clover, floral softness, isoflavones
  • Sweet Clover leaves (Melilotus officinalis) — sweet clover, a natural honeyed aroma
  • Peppermint leaves (Mentha piperita) — peppermint, freshness, opens the breath
  • Calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis) — calendula, anti-inflammatory for the mucous membranes, a solar colour

Why these plants together

The aim is a gentle transition out of tobacco. Each plant brings its own specific comfort:

  • Marshmallow + Calendula → protection for the mucous membranes (often irritated by tobacco)
  • Raspberry + Sweet Clover → a satisfying smoky body, a structure that recalls tobacco without nicotine
  • Red Clover → floral softness
  • Peppermint → bronchial openness, freshness on the palate

It's an architectural blend: it satisfies the gesture, the taste, the smoke, without introducing dependence or any strong psychoactive effect.

Ritual use

  • Full replacement : roll it neat. In the first days the craving will be there — that's the body reorganising itself.
  • Gradual transition : 50/50 with tobacco, then reduce the tobacco share down to 100% Herbal Mix.
  • Personalisation : add Mullein (lung opening), Damiana (mood), Mugwort (dreams), Rose Petals (heart), Mexican Tarragon (ritual).
  • Visionary additions : for ceremonial/contemplative use, add Calea Zacatechichi (dreams), Blue Lotus (serenity), Imphepho (ancestral), Poppy Petals (peace), Pink Lotus Stamens (elevation).

From the DB: Indianmix RYO, Mullein, Mexican Tarragon Yauthli, Damiana, Wild Dagga.

Precautions

  • Sweet Clover (Melilot): contains coumarins. No overconsumption (several packs a day) for people on anticoagulants.
  • Calendula and Red Clover: caution in case of hormone-dependent conditions.
  • All smoke remains a lung irritant.
