Breakdown
I’ve always loved shopping and the herbs are superb quality. My favorite shop on Etsy in fact and whenever I ask for herbal samples for future purchases I’ve never been disappointed. I always receive more than one. As long as this shop is available on Etsy it will be my go to for my medicinal herbs.

Simple d utilisation, effets rapides. Pour moi m'alimenter avant et pendant avec des aliments sains et naturels, sans origine animale m'a beaucoup aidé à avoir des résultats immédiats.

We answer.
What is ubhubhubhu?
The gentlest of the ubulawu family — the entry plant, the first door before the deeper dream roots. Her isiZulu name, ubhubhubhu, imitates the sound of the white foam that bubbles up when the plant is beaten in cold water. Behind it: Helinus integrifolius, a South African liana of the Rhamnaceae family, member of the ubulawu dream plants.
What is ubhubhubhu used for?
Brewed alone, she is reputed to bring subtle mental clarity and better dream recall. In sangoma use she prepares the mind before deeper dream plants like Silene capensis. The effect is slow, deployed during the night, without marked peak.
How do I prepare ubhubhubhu?
Two traditional ways. As a decoction — about a tablespoon of crushed root simmered 20 to 30 minutes in 250 ml of water, in the evening. As foam — the material beaten vigorously in cold water until forming a thick white foam, ingested before bedtime, ideally while singing.
What is the ubulawu family?
Ubulawu designates a group of South African plants that form an abundant foam once beaten in cold water. Researcher Jean-François Sobiecki has documented at least seventeen species. They are used in southern Africa to purify and favour the dream of divination.
Why is ubhubhubhu the entry plant?
Because she is gentle. Where Silene capensis opens deep channels, ubhubhubhu murmurs — she clarifies dream reading rather than provoking a massive dream. This softness makes her the first door to discover dream plants without undergoing their intensity.
Does ubhubhubhu have contraindications?
Avoid during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children. Caution with sedatives and antidepressants, and in case of Rhamnaceae allergy. Saponins in large quantity can provoke nausea — respect traditional references and do your own research.
What's the difference with Silene capensis (undlela ziimlophe)?
Ubhubhubhu is the gentle entry plant; Silene capensis is the white path, deeper and visionary. Tradition often associates them — ubhubhubhu prepares the ground, Silene opens the way.
Where does INFUSE's ubhubhubhu come from?
She is wild-harvested in South Africa, with quality control in France. The details (harvester, lot) are in process of confirmation. INFUSE offers her as crushed root, in jars of 10g, 20g and 50g.
