I haven't been able to enter a lucid dream state yet but I have gotten some of the best sleeps I've ever gotten. the resin is easiest way to consume, I tried all the options offered. I might not be consuming enough at night, can't find any suggestions for dosing online.

Very nice to relax with a book before sleep, I use the extract (0.5 to 1g) as a tea with passiflora (nice taste). No noticeable effect on my dreams, though. My sleep may be better as I sleep a lot (usually > 8h), and with this tea I sometimes sleep about 1h less.

Nice in a tea before sleep, I like the relaxing effect, no noticeable impact on dreams though (extract 100x).

These people really know how to source great quality resin. Soft and pliable without being sticky. The beans I bought from them at the same time are huge and you can really understand why people sometimes make them into trinket boxes. Can't honestly say that my dreams are any more vivid than usual but I certainly get better sleep when I use the resin. If you smoke this would be very easy to roll into strands and mix with your favourite herb. Not quite sure yet whether I'll use the beans as anything other than a very attractive and unusual ornament - much bigger than your average conker and look very striking!

⊹ FREQUENT QUESTIONS ⊹
We answer.
What is the African Dream Bean (Entada rheedii)?
Entada rheedii, called the African Dream Bean, is the large brown bean of a giant liana of the Fabaceae family. Her shell is so watertight that she can drift for years in seawater before germinating on another shore — this is how she colonised every tropical coast in the world. Several southern African traditions carry her and open her to dream. INFUSE offers her as whole seed and as resin paste.
How is the African dream bean used?
The first step is to carry the seed on yourself for a few weeks — in a pocket, near the bed, under the pillow — before opening her. Once the shell is broken, the inner flesh is taken in small portion slowly chewed, in brief filtered infusion, or reduced to powder sprinkled in an evening smoking blend. The resin paste dissolves in a warm drink. Many choose never to open her and keep her as a talisman.
What is the difference between the whole seed and the resin paste of Entada rheedii?
The whole seed is the complete artefact — to carry, to charge with intention, to open when the moment comes to prepare the flesh in infusion, mouthful or smoking powder. The resin paste is a concentrate obtained by maceration and successive reductions in pure water; a tip the size of a rice grain dissolves in a warm drink, simpler to dose. The seed for long companionship; the resin for ease.
Can the African dream bean be eaten raw?
Never consume the whole seed raw or in large quantity — she is rich in saponins, irritating at high dose. Only the inner flesh is prepared, in small portion, after breaking the shell; the infused way (brief boiling then filtering) remains the gentlest. The flesh is frankly bitter. Always start with very little to observe how the body responds.
Does the African dream bean give lucid dreams?
Traditions and dream practitioners describe her as a plant that makes dreams more vivid, more present and better memorised, sometimes populated with clear presences — not as a guarantee of lucid dream. The oneiric mechanism has not yet been chemically isolated. Effects vary from person to person, and nothing is promised; a dream journal and a posed intention before sleep accompany her well.
Why should I carry the seed before opening her?
It is a traditional instruction, and it has its logic. Carrying the seed for several weeks — feeling her, speaking to her, entrusting her with one's intention — installs a relationship and fixes the direction of the dream work. Those who skip this step often report less marked effects; those who respect it, more relevant dreams. This is also why INFUSE sells her whole: she is as much a companion as a preparation.
Where does INFUSE's African dream bean come from?
Our seeds are harvested in the wild in Thailand, where the same liana grows in coastal forests and mangroves. Quality control is carried out in France. The supply details — harvester, lot — are in process of confirmation. The plant has a cosmopolitan tropical distribution: she is the same species as in southern Africa, carried there, in the past, by ocean currents.
What precautions with Entada rheedii?
Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding (insufficient data) and in children. Never consume the seed raw or in large quantity — saponins. Allergy to Fabaceae (legumes) — caution. In case of treatment, particularly sedative, opioid or antidepressant, ask for medical advice. Do not drive or operate machinery after use. Proceed progressively, especially in association with other dream plants.
